Crieve Hall is a neighborhood of Nashville, Tennessee. Blackman Road generally borders the community to the north, Broadwell Drive and Baxter Lane to the south, the Ellington Agricultural Center and Seven Mile Creek to the east, and the CSX railroad tracks to the west. Crieve Hall takes its name from a former estate that was eventually subdivided and became the residential neighborhood it is today. The area is sited close to green spaces like Whitfield Park and the Ellington Agriculture Complex, while Radnor Lake State Park is a short distance west of Crieve Hall. The neighborhood also houses the Historic Travellers Rest Plantation and Museum, which includes the historic home of Judge John Overton, built in 1799.
Much of the Crieve Hall neighborhood was built out in the mid-1900s and featured brick ranch-style homes on large lots with expansive lawns and mature trees. Houses from that era tend to dominate the market, although homes for sale do include more recently built properties and may include historic homes from the 1800s. Homes for sale with floor plans of 1,300 – 2,500 square feet and three to four bedrooms are most common and have been remodeled with updated appliances and fixtures. Crieve Hall is a desirable Nashville neighborhood, loved by homebuyers for the beauty of its well-kept homes with spacious yards and charming gardens.
